You must really like watching me get punched in the face. "Well, you do make a fantastic show of it."

"Should I turn the sound up?" And listen to some complete strangers try to guess what's going through my head? No thanks. Heh, maybe I should get into commentary … "Ah, there you are! The strapping young 'Iron' Mike Rooney." Hm? I was still using "Iron Mike" then, huh? It was still a better ringname than "the Irish Ballerina". "You were a little … violent for a ballerina." Hence the 'Irish'.

I have a hard time seeing 'the Hulk' as particularly graceful …" There's a reason me and him were always sparring partners. Frank's what you call a "slugger". Big, slow, don't get a lot of hits in. But when they do hit? They'll knock ya into the next county!

"That really doesn't seem like a fair match-up." Yeah, but you've seen my record. I won most of those fights! That kinda opponent's great training for an out-fighter! "That means you keep your distance, right?" Yeah. It's the classic boxer style. You stay defensive, poking in with jabs, just watching for an opportunity to get in and cut loose! You need a lot of speed and smarts to pull that off.

"He's using an 'in-fighting' style, right?" … Sorry, Robin. I'm still having trouble wrapping my head around you being a boxing buff. "Well, I … really just like watching you sweat. … How many times did you watch this fight again? "Eh heh, so … Did your opponent have extra padding in his gloves? It seems like hooves would be too much of an advantage otherwise." Huh? Well yeah, but the padding really just protects your hands. Not your face. Wow, all I can see looking at this are the mistakes I made. There! Really shouldn't have dropped that elbow. I was asking for that hook.

But when it does, there's one thing you gotta tell yourself: stand up. "Stand up?" You stay down? Give up? You lose, right there. But as long as you can get back up, there's a chance to win. A chance to rally. So you MAKE yourself stand up!
