SMM Gimmick #5: Cannons in autoscroll The speed of cannonballs in some instances, surprisingly synchronizes with specific autoscroll speeds. A black cannonball moving horizontally has the exact same speed as rabbit autoscroll. If a black cannonball is moving through lava, it slows down to the exact same speed as turtle autoscroll. This can be used to make some pretty interesting obstacles.
