Donkey Kong Country 6 discussion

So, their is a possibility another DKC is coming for Switch. While people want Metroid Prime 4 over more DK, I feel nobody but Retro and maybe Camalot wants to make DK games. Another Metroid is probably in the works by the main team, may it not be as bad as Other M. I have a lot of ideas for the next DKC that I will go into, and feel free to share your own.

    I want better bonus rooms. TF just had the same rooms over and over. I want more variety. Also a bonus world that's more interesting with the complete ending like in 2 and 3!

    Definitely needs a true ending! I was disappointed to complete Returns and TF and not getting a new boss/ending xD Loved the core in DKC2 and Knautilus in 3

    Lank honestly is on of my favorite Kongs in that he's very unique. He could flap upwards, knocking away airborne enemies and cand grab on far-away ropes/hooks. I want to add moves that can be used when crouching then ground pounding. He could handstand and run really fast, making him a good for speedrunner, and can roll out of it.

    DK could use a buff. Add more strong enemies, gain momentum from consecutive rolls, use his CG, and pick up Kongs and throw them for his v-Y move. Kiddy could be added. I think people would like him more if he was in another game. He could bounce on water, fall and smash the ground stunning enemies for his air, and whip the loose foots of his jammies at spiked foes for his v-Y.

    Eh, maybe Lanky, although I was never a huge fan of him. But I'd take him over Kiddy (my least favorite Kong) any day.

    Can't really argue with either of those points. I still have no idea why they put Tiny in DK64 instead of Dixie. So disappointing.

    An idea for an area is an amusement park, as 2 roller coaster levels weren't enough for me. Roller coasters, carnival ground, ciruses, and and a level where you jump from ride to ride, avoiding trains and jumping across ferris wheels would all be good Kremland levels.

    Lanky is honestly one of my favorite kongs. I had fond memories of playing DK64 at my aunt's house (I didn't own it then, probably why I had fond memories of it) and I always liked Lanky, as he had personality, he's unique, and he is an orangutan.

    I thought his gameplay was interesting, but I thought he was a bit...odd. But I wouldn't be opposed to seeing him in another game. Maybe he'll grow on me.

    His weirdness is one reason I like him. Another area idea is an airport then the last half is an airplane or the Flying Kroc. A level where you jump across cases & conveyors in a suitase sorting system, sneak past security or be chased by a rockroc guard, and climbing inside and outside the plane in flight. Maybe Kremling stewards ride on snack carts to slide into you?

    I actually like Kiddy Kong! I don't get the hate for him. He could give DK a Mario-style ground pound, and Lanky could stretch into a parachute (like Flurl in Jungle Beat) to help him glide down slowly.
