    The control scheme takes time to get to grips with. Have you played Splatoon? Star Fox utilizes a similar gyroscopic method for aiming. You tilt and pitch the GamePad to move the target reticule. The real tricky bit is the cockpit view on the GamePad. Looking back and forth between it and the TV isn't ideal. You can instead toggle between both views on the TV by pressing select (-) if that helps.
