    Silly me. As mentioned in the previous post, I forgot the 3DS VC version of this doesn't allow screens, so its Bluebird again. Making fantastic progress, already on the way to the temple of droplets, if I could just get those books back to the library. XD Also I wasted an half an hour trying to find a specific kin stone piece for the light arrow quest, then found it in a chest in a dungeon.
