Well folks I will no longer be trying to buy Nintendo Switch at launch. Why? No Virtual Console. To me, that is a serious thing not to have at launch, and it is a big mistake for Nintendo. Looks like I will need to pre-order Breath to the Wild for WiiU.

    I definitely understand that. I was gonna wait for a Switch anyways, but this confirms my decision. I love my virtual console library on Wii U.

    I will probably now pick up the console when there are truly new games such as ARMS and Splatoon 2.

    I get wanting that but it's like, you have the ability to play all those games already. Like I have the ability to play GBA, GB, NES, SNES, N64, etc games on several different things, I'd want the Switch for new things and better version of BotW.

    It's just the overall feeling that all the Switch will do day one is play Zelda (or 1 2 Switch or any other launch day title). I would feel better if Nintendo would actually say we expect to add VC by the end of March. But of course, they only say, "We will announce more in the future". That isn't very helpful. I would like more confidence that my $300 + investment is worth it.
