Apparently BotW Wii U would weigh in at 13 Giga Bytes (0.4 gigs smaller than the Switch version). Now however BotW acording to the eShop will only require 11 gigs of hardrive space. What the heck happened to the other 2 gigs? Is that how much space a save file will consume? DLC maybe??

  • just get the physical copy for the switch it doesn't take up storage

  • hmm if you want to go digital on the switch, you should get an sd card. the cartridge shouldn't take that much space anyway

  • There's something wrong here - this game should be way bigger in size than it is. Donkey Kong Country Tropical Freeze is about the same size and that's a 2D sidescroller. Smash Bros. on Wii U was much bigger than this but had plenty of content for a 2D brawler. Don't you think BotW will be missing so much content in comparison? 11GB may not be enough for what they're trying to do.

  • That 2 GB gap is temporarily used during the installation process. Once it's done, the game will take 11 GB and the extra 2 GB will be freed.
