メインラウンド１回戦。するめ大学を選択。守備がいいらしいというので、ヒット性の当たりを取られたりしないかヒヤヒヤ。５対０で迎えた７回表、２点を返され、なおも無死満塁の大ピンチ！ここで「猿」を三振に切り、次バッターを6-4-3のゲッツー！　いやぁ、しびれた！その後８表に２点取られるも、その裏突き放して、９対４！いやぁ、なかなか手強かったなぁ。
