Are there any methods of staying warm? Spicy peppers don't seem to do much, so I'd suppose I would have to find warm clothing... but where?! Can somebody help me out with this situation?

    the old man has a diary in his cabin. itsays he knew recipe but forgot the last ingredient. So with the chilly papers get hylian bass in the first shrine you go to (north), then get meat by hunting in the forest of spirits. Cook all 4 ingredients and give them to the old man at night for a warm doublett which should resolve your problem

    If you're at the Great Plateau, head to the tallest peak of the area. The Old Man will reward you with armor that offers cold resistance.
