Anyone else remember those days where if you wanted to make a low-leveled Pokémon stronger, you'd have to keep it first in line and then swap it for a stronger Pokémon during wild encounters so it still gets exp without fighting?

I did that on my recent playthrough of Platinum. You don't get the exp share until you find it on a post-champion area, unlike with the newer games.
