I have cleared 2 shrines now and found my first sword. I have no shield yet so being 2 hand doesn't bother me. It seems like a better option than the clubs, sticks and limbs I've had to work with until now. I'm just not sure if I should save it until I know I'm in for a more serious battle for now because it will wear out on guys that I could have used the club for. I found a Switch shirt too.

    3 Shrines cleared now and I have had a chance to try some cooking, with mostly good results. But some heal more health than I have. I think my first 2 stat enhancements will go to heart containers rather than increased stamina.

    This game looks stellar - all I can compare it to is Fallout or that doggone snow monster game on 3ds... Spicy fruit and mushroom mix sounds pretty good - mmm survival food.

    We have really been enjoying it. I've cleared 5 shrines now and am off the plateau. My oldest boy has cleared 3 and LOVES cooking! I figured out how to get amiibo working and got this sweet boomerang from my son's WW Link. I think I know where to find some stables now too so soon I'll be horse hunting. Game is really starting to open up, but there are still many things I need to flee/avoid.
