Not too sure why they didn't call it manure or dung as it ok to use those words too but that word is more funny and is about as close as they will come to using one of the less appropriate names.. LOL..

Not sure as I didn't play the last SoS game much and forgotten most of it. I just couldn't get into it. But the last HM used barn dirt. I do think it was for the comedy and it is funny.. heh..
