(No offense) Non taken. Frankly, I started hating Omochao around Sonic Generations. I believe it was around Planet Wisp where Omochao was finally getting on my nerves. Until I discovered you can turn it off in the options. (This is why you need to read the Instruction Manual for the controls, Cause they'll creation obligatory tutorial* characters like this.)

* Except toriel from Undertale. At least she actually has importants to the plot. (Can't say the same for that "owl" from "The Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time".)
