Lassi, here's your Smash pic. It became somewhat of an NES style instead, because I totally lost motivation to continue...

  • You know, a long time ago me and my best friend were working on a NES version of Super Smash Bros on a old program called GameMaker.

  • Did you ever finish it?

  • Um... maybe. but it was made year and years ago when I was near the end of the 1st part of my middle school years and some of my memory, like the methods that were used to build the Great Pyramids, have mostly erode away. I bet most were good memories too, shame.

  • Ah, OK. I would have liked to try it out, if it was released.

  • yea, and the gameplay was well-done too. It had a stage walkthrough a bit similar to brawl's storyline , but the levels were based a lot more on the character homeworlds, like the Mushroom Kingdom, Hyrule Temple, Dr. Wily's factory, even Planet Zebes. you go through the levels and beat the boss characters in a Super Smash Bros battle.

  • Sounds interesting!

  • It was, and it was one of my favourite games too. You could put Mario on a simulated Megaman Mission, get Kirby to take on Mother Brain, have Samus traverse the Hyrule Temple to take on Shadow Link to recover the Triforce, even get Link to make his way to Bowser's Lair and take some time with a stroll in Dreamland. It could have been the most shining ideals in the Nintendo lineup.

  • Sounds like NES Remix to me

  • maybe so, but I am trying to be honest, besides me and my best friend's game was made long before NES Remix was made and given that ours was a Super Smash Bros game, me and my best friend did put in fighting stages like one at Onion Ocean and even on top of the NES console. trust me I am trying to tell the truth.

    Yeahs1
  • I know you're telling the truth, that very concept reminded me of NES Remix.

  • Just making sure you know. It's just harder to properly communicate in the Virtual World than in the Actual World, making accepting told information, even if it is true like what I'm trying to tell you and anyone else that is listening, very difficult.

  • Agreed...

  • Anyway, me and my best friend's Super Smash Bros game did give sort of the old Super Smash Bros classic mode a new twist and I remember the game name was called Super Smash Bros NES.
