Physical release for Fatal Frame: Still waiting to play this game, stop ignoring your fans Nintendo!

A large portion of Fatal Frame's fan base has been ignored by Nintendo of North America by not releasing this game physically, they need to release this game to increase fan morale and to introduce more people to this franchise and let it grow.

  • There's a million and one things that Nintendo did wrong this generation, but that's another topic entirely and could go on forever.

  • l get all my games physically, even if the NX comes with a digital copy of a game for free, l will still get it physically.

  • lf NoA releases Fatal Frame Wii on the eShop then hopefully we will get physical releases of Fatal Frame in the future. Maybe they can make a HD remake of all of them for the NX

  • Ron2600 I totally agree. I understand the convenience of digital media. The only way I'm ok with it is if I also have the option of physical media too. Digital only though, I will never be ok with.

  • I find it funny that i found your post on nintendo's website, about latest post on miiverse for fatal frame. Also i heard that limited run games is trying to get a physical copy done. I'm hoping they do, i just finished the demo and i want a physical copy. Maybe it will be out next mouth. It would be good timing.

  • How about a 'trilogy' collection for NX/Wii U containing Fatal Frame 2, Fatal Frame 4 (I don't even care that I just bought it from Nintendo of Japan, I'll buy it again), and Fatal Frame 5. I'd buy that in a heartbeat, man. Physical only, of course. Or, heck, make a collection of all five games, that would be amazing. Like I would give all the money for that.

  • We need to keep posting about it here as well as tagging Nintendo of America on their other social media accounts and telling them there. I can't specify because they'll delete my comment but one has a little bird on it and the other rhymes with LaceCook.

  • Yesterday Lost Reavers advertisement appeared on my Wii U some how, NoA will put this free to play game on my system but they can't advertise Fatal Frame?

    Yeahs3
  • Did anyone else have this happen to them?

    Yeahs2
  • Lost reavers was download on mine to, but it's rare for nintendo to do that. They give you an option to turn if off or on. Don't remember where it is though.

  • Hey, NoA advertise Fatal Frame the same way as Mariokart 8 or Splatoon youl sell more then if you did NO advertising it at all.

    Yeahs4
  • Yep, thats how to ensure solid sales is through advertising. This is one of the other issues with NOA. They don't want to advertise their products. That is why they don't want to take risks with game releases. Mario, Zelda, ect, sell themselves and are known franchises. But if a title needs a real marketing push, then they don't want to even try to do it to help it sell. Hence the treatment of FF.

    Yeahs2
  • Then what's the point of bringing the game over if they don't try advertising it. Do they not want our money??

    Yeahs4
  • They advertised the Splatoon to death when it first came out, and no one knew what anything about it when it was new. Fatal Frame in almost in the same boat, few people know about it so they should advertise it like they did with splatoon (Not as crazy thou, the squid-kid thing was annoying).

    Yeahs3
  • Probably the same reason Xenoblade X bombed in comparison to the first game on Wii. Zero advertising. The marketing team for Nintendo in America is absolute trash, I'll never forget how cringe that Tokyo Mirage trailer was. And a slap in the face to titling the trailer for Fatal Frame 'very spoopy'. REALLY??

    Yeahs2
  • The game is rated M. This means children have zero business playing it. It's absolutely ridiculous that this even needs to be stated. I'm not even gonna get into the censored costumes, cause gimme a break already man.

    Yeahs2
  • All of these little things make people upset with NoA, and there not that hard to fix.
