soooo finished the game. i got really mixed feelings. the first half was great, the second was horrible. i get what the developers were trying to do with the whole repetition... but it was SO boring. if you want to show the growin frustration among the characters, just let them experience that more or add more dungeons or even expand the existing ones!

    at least give the player more exciting new things to explore. the story wrapped the whole thing up quite okay... i almost lost complete interest, good thing i stuck by! but i´ll have to say, the sequel won´t be picked up by me. Sorry Square Enix, i appreaciate the new RPG "franchise" you established here, but go back to the learning board in regards to game design!

    I'm glad you found the ending somewhat enjoyable. This is my least favourite finished game on the 3ds. The decision they made with the story left a bad taste in my mouth, and that they made the game longer than it should've been. It'll take a lot for me to touch this franchise again, and that's a pity, because the promise was there. I would only give this one a 6/10...

    fully agree! yeah, why did they made that game so long then? the story could´ve stayed the same, just make a long cutscene af.ter entering the first holy pillar with something like "our heroes were damned to repeat this cycle all over again until...". maybe you wouldn´t have the same impact like it had now, but everything is better than what we got! btw. i just went back and looked at some

    @Giel so story was mediocre i think. didn´t really feel attached to the main character, too clichy and nothing i haven´t seen in other JRPGs aswell! i had some good times with the first one, but nothing which will spark my need for the sequel
