The Castlevania series brings with it a legacy of innovative genre-defining games that have graced almost every video game platform to date. Its Gothic horror storyline took us on many whip wielding, monster slaying adventures and has left its mark on gaming today.

Mossy: The screen shot you've posted here harkens back to last year when you beat that infernal boss (and several Castlevania games in succession). I was having SUCH trouble at that point in the game that I have up.

Don't count Konami out yet, boys. After all, they fired Kojima on Silent Hills because they are secretly rebuilding Team Silent to once again take the reigns of the franchise...and Igarashi's Bloodstained is just a smokescreen to cover up his real game: a new Castlevania trilogy! Right...right, guys...?

i always thought of the Castlevanias as the coolest NES games out there (even though i'm absolute balls at them). there were better games out there, but imo none combined music & style to create a better atmosphere. it should be a crime what's become of CV these days..
