    I disagree. While Sega does have other great series, Sonic should not be forgotten. Sega shouldn't drop a video game legend like Namco did with Pac-Man or Capcom did with Mega Man. Sonic has had fantastic games like Colors and Generations, but Sega keeps making mistakes.

    Lost World was not a horrible game, it was just nor a Sonic game. If it had no connection with Sonic, it would have been hailed as a success. On the other hand, the recent successes of Sonic show his series is not dead, if Sega is ready to listen.

    Sega stopping their focus on Sonic would be like Nintendo doing the same for Mario. Sonic was their chief game. He was their mascot. Them dropping him now would be like admitting the last 25 years was a mistake.

    Sonic is Sega's mascot like you said. And I'm not referencing that we should drop Sonic and go "Okay Sonic gone forever now". Maina and 2017 are in progress. But they can make mistakes, plus I feel like they will soon over use Classic Sonic and he will get old. But other than that they should at least look back at their old creations. :/
