Similar games to Metroid?

Hi guys! Since I'm a massive metroid fan I was wondering if you know of any games very similar to it. I currently know of Guacamelee, Axiom Verge, Castlevania and others...but I want to know more!

La-Mulana is one of the best Metroidvania games I've played. Be aware that it's quite hard, though.

The only thing I can suggest is Halo for the XBox One and XBox 360, but to be honest I don't like Microsoft (With the exeption of minecraft) or Sony
