    I solved that problem a long time ago by using an ethernet cable. It was splatoon's own server that caused those connection problems.

    Yes. I felt as though there was an 'Unstable Connection' button over at Nintendo and they got paid by pushing it specifically for me when I was in ranked battles. I was more salty than all the salt I consumed in my life. Where I save scummed my rank as vengeance for all the connection errors. Ever since the update where the game puts people around your skill level, I accepted where I was and went

    back down to a comfortable rank in regular battles while save scumming for awesome gear in the process. RNG is still a pain until the blessing of Sphx came and I changed my gear to my image. It doesn't make me a better player, just cool looking.
