...And I did it. I beat the True Final Mission, and got the true ending. ...This hit me hard. I'm crying. So much symbolism went into this entire game and its ending, and really made an impact on the story. I'm also glad that Gunvolt finally got his happy ending. This precious guy needed it, after all he had been through. And Copen-- I don't like his views on Adepts. But I respect him.

I wouldn't say Gunvolt got his happy ending. He wishes for her to be happy, but cannot be with her, he lost someone he deeply loved, but at least that person is happy... For now. A sequel could come out of this.

But at the same time, he knows Joule is safe and happy, which is all he ever wanted for her and what he fought for. In the end, not only did Joule get to live her own life again, she was able to bring someone back to life, and while she may not remember, she knows that she met the person who allowed her to be happy again.

After all they've been through, they all got to live their own lives happily, which is what they deserved. Even though you must part ways someday, you should always look back and smile on the fact that the one you had to part ways with is finding their own happiness, just as you are finding yours... That's the vibe I get from this.

Well, I wouldn't say Copen is living a happy life seeing he still wants to exterminate the Adepts or Gunvolt without Joule, then again, at least Gunvolt can find happiness in the future if everything remains peaceful, which I don't think will happen. That's why Mytil wishes happiness to find both of them one day, even if she doesn't remember them.
