Xenoblade Chronicles Diary: Episode 5.

I have grinded to level 75 to face Lorithia. It's not enough. I need to reach 80 for this. I hear Gaur Plains, Satorl Marsh and Eryth Sea are good places to grind. This is an otherwise great game, but i feel the story is going downhill at this point and the grinding from 70-80 is tedious. Honestly, Egil would have made a great final boss.

    The fight against Lorithia is incredibly annoying and is easily the worst part of the game, but it gets so much better after that. Just keep going and you'll have fun again.

    If you're struggling with Lorithia, a recommended tactic is to take out the bubble enemies around her first. You can use them to build up the party meter and her defence drops dramatically once they're gone.

    I got her down to about 5% health before Melia carted, which is the closest I got to beating her. Luckily for me, getting to her got me halfway to level 76 and I found a rather easy super boss on Gaur Plain (upper levels) that gives me quite a bit of Exp. I can also handle regular monsters up to 78.
