    I have 2 things that you could add to make it look better. 1. Maybe change the shape of the lake? Go randomly place blocks for the perimeter of your lake. The shape now looks very man-made and unnatural. 2. You could combine grass blocks with green wool to make a striped mowed-lawn effect. :P But of course, this is your world. You don't have to do what I say if you don't want to.
