I don't have a friend close to me to play with in the real world, but sega should've at least add an online play. on the back cover of the art box of this game,it mentions it has co-op... ...that's not true at all.

  • multiple review sights gave it above an 8.....i think so to. And the the original poster there is co-op, but not online multiplayer, so the box is right

  • i feel it was Nintendo's condition given how uptight they are because of a few online incidents that ruined several things for everyone... but that's just how i see it.

  • then again it'd lag quite a bit online isn't as strong as you think especially if the distance is great data can only move so fast and they probably couldn't give it online without terribly affecting gameplay itself look at Hyrule warriors playing co-op puts strain on the gameplay that they had to lower quality to keep it running smoothly.

  • In the game,I don't see any features about a co-op play,only vs.(racing) The game didn't shown a mode where a player can join in the action. I hope there's a way....

  • misprint maybe? (it can happen)

  • Online play would require servers. Servers cost money. Given the previous few Sonic Boom games, money is something that Sega would probably be skeptical to spend too much of in this case, and servers would probably be crossing that limit. Now, since people are generally considering this game to be such a big improvement, who knows? Maybe it could be a feature added in an update?

  • only time will tell...

  • you think the creators of this game will take it more seriously since SEGA is letting them have another chance?
