are you able to get the wii u costumes in legends?

Yes. All costumes in the original Wii U game (and DLC costumes) can be collected in this game. They're all scattered across Adventure Mode (Link's Goron and Zora tunics, and Link and Zelda's Skyward Sword costumes are on the first Adventure Map, Boss costumes in the Rewards Map, Master Quest costumes in the MQ Map, Twilight Costumes in the Twilight Map, and Mask Costumes in the Termina Map).

Cia and Lana's Guardian of Time costumes are also in the Master Quest Map, Link's Kokiri Tunic is on the Termina Map, and his "Era of Twilight" Tunic is on the Twilight Map (same applies for Ganondorf's and Zelda's "Era of the Hero of Time" and "Era of Twilight" costumes, respectively).

Zelda's "Illia's Clothes" costume is also in the Twilight Map as well. The new Great Sea Map also has new "Great Sea" costumes that can be obtained as well.
