    Yeah, Geodude's sprite always looked a bit back in the older games. It's bumps give the impression that their round and fluffy rather than being hard, un-even surfaces. To be fair though, in this very picture Charmeleon looks a like a bull. It's nose and horn resemble a cows when you have Charmeleon stand in the player spot.
