  • Fi - Requested by katzstorm

  • how do people draw so good with straight lines on the wii u pad? my hand shakes

    Yeahs3
  • Well thank you Saturn, this is what I'd recommend: 1. Sit comfortably and place the Gamepad on a table if it helps. 2. Literally just practice. Every drawing I've made (I'm probably up to about 20 now) I've gotten a liiiittle bit better at straight lines, and just lines in general.

  • * C´est beau !!!! *

  • Very nice drawing of Fi. I find it that Fi has something of a negative reputation, but she is actually my second favorite supporting character in the series, behind The King of Red Lions. Being what she was, I felt like she had importance in the game, but her role didn't try to dominate game, at least in my opinion.

  • Darn, you're gonna surpass me soon! Wonderful job, you really are improving with each drawing... Unlike ME. Every drawing from me, is like 0.1% better. :P

    Yeahs1
  • @clarisse Merci! Je suis heureux que vous l'aimez tellement. @GoGetter I have yet to play Skyward Sword, so I know very little of Fi other than people find her annoying and she'll constantly try to inform you when the Wiimote's batteries are low. But I love her design, she's graceful and elegant. Her most defining features are the gentle contours of her face and lips, something I don't think I

  • was able to replicate very clearly but it's fine. @Noelle Now, Noelle... You really mustn't devalue your artistic abilities like that! I *am* glad however you're enjoying seeing my progress! But I think you're neglecting to recognize the things you DO do well. Like the highlights on your Stormtrooper helmet, I thought that was very strong! Furthermore, even if your 0.1% theory was correct I

    Yeahs0
  • hardly think it matters much in the long run. Ya can't rush art, and neither can you rush a blossoming artIST!

    Yeahs0
  • Oh my gosh, I just re-read this and realized that I sound like a JERK if you read my message in the wrong tone of voice and emphasise the wrong parts. I am sincerely sorry, Noelle, if this is how it came across to you. My apologies. -Christian

    Yeahs0
  • Please allow me to rewrite my message: "Noelle, it doesn't make me happy to see you think of your art poorly. While I am however greatful to you for your continued support, I nonetheless feel the need to stress that your art has several great qualities you may not be giving yourself credit for. The highlights on your Stormtrooper helmet picture for example, I thought it was handled excellently!

    Yeahs0
  • If, it turns out, your '0.1% estimate' is correct, I daresay you need to worry about such a thing. As the saying goes, 'You can't rush art', and I say, in the same way, an artist should not be rushed, and instead be granted the ability to learn and experiment by his or her own pace. Keep chugging away, and you WILL see drastic improvements." I once again wish to apologize. -Christian

  • Shhhhhhh. You never sounded rude in the first place. You're probably one of the nicest people I know. And quite friendly. I should be the one apologizing. My perfectionist side really seems to bring people down. I'm sorry. But thank you for recognizing that I try fairly hard in my drawings. :>

    Yeahs1
  • Ay ay ay, I'm just paranoid aren't I? I hate to come across as rude over the Internet, so as a result sometimes I'm just too nice. Clearly I jumped the gun with this one. Thank you for understanding Noelle, and thanks for being my friend. :)

    Yeahs0
  • Don't worry, I'm quite the paranoid person myself. Yeah, that's a good thing. There are too many rude people on the Internet... And you're perfectly fine the way you are. Ah, no problem.
