Development of DOS simulator

I'm working on a DOS simulator that resembles MS-DOS. Can someone help me develop this? I am aiming for almost all the DOS commands most DOS-based operating systems have, such as echo, dir, cd, etc. Also I am working on a text editor for it, but that really needs a lot of work. Anyone in?

  • That sounds fun, I've got experience with parsing engines, which could help you You should consider building it around a SmileBASIC OS, so you could open a command prompt window and start scripting all within your 3DS

  • My goal is to make it work and look similar to MS-DOS. Since MS-DOS has no shiny, pretty gui like windows, the simulator is going to be text based. Once I have that done and learn more SmileBASIC, I'll get to work on a graphical os thingy.

  • The key is 433P4EG3. Any suggestions for improving it other than more commands?
