    Consider the following: the events of Gen 1 take place around the same time as Gen 3. The S.S. Anne sails around the world. Maybe, the S.S. Anne crashed, and that's why you find Looker at the Battle Resort in ORAS. Plus, In Ruby, Sapphire, and Emerald, you can enter a place known as the Sunken Ship, which looks alot like the S.S. Anne.
