    Agree @Ian.. can't blame someone for liking 3d games but the 2d are some amazing action adventures that as such good game play, history, influence that they are definitely worth a try.. Hard question though, I would answer something like anyone who dreams about adventure and discovery, anyone who would do selfless act to help people, are potential Zelda fans :) cheers

    I think you're a legit Zelda fan as long as you don't say "OCARINA OF TIME IS BEST GAME ALL OTHERS ARE TRASH" *sigh* There should be a word for people who hate on all the new games for not being OoT. I mean, I like the game, but it's built too much of a pedestal for itself. Too much moaning?

    Have played atleast 2 games. The first games i played from zelda was (in 2014) The Wind waker and Ocarina of time (normal and master quest)

    I agree with Flamy about OoT being the best and all others sucking. Actually, Zelda fans just need to have some knowledge of the "world" in which the game is designed. Is Zelda the name of that green-clad hero? Having at least one of the titles on your favorites list helps. Having Zelda merchandise -- and understanding what it is and where it comes from -- works as well.
