It doesn't. To get to the true ending, clear the final boss as both GV and Copen once. That pendant doesn't do anything.

Increase Joule's protection This phrase just means ahigher chance of anthem, but that's about it.

it doesnt seem like a 50/50 chance. every time i had it on i got the anthem. if it only boosts the chance then thats one hell of a boost XD.

When I only talk to joule, I get roughly a 30 percent awakening chance, but I've always talked to joule when I used the neclace, so i'm not sure what chances you have only using the necklace.
