三式戦闘機　陸軍試作番号「キ64」愛称は「飛燕」。特徴は大日本帝国軍では珍しい水冷エンジンを搭載した。しかし、品質が劣悪なのと、生産が追い付かず、やむ無く空冷エンジンを搭載した「五式戦闘機」が製作される。　終戦間際では、もっぱら「B29」を迎撃していた。
