Zelda Fact #124: In the Japanese version of Skyward Sword, the "Thrill Digger" mini-game is called "Heart-Pounding Rupee Digging", which is a reference to Dampé's "Heart Pounding Gravedigging Tour" from Ocarina of Time.

  • Cool, love references between games Something that i don't like is the change of word/text between regions, for example i prefer the english text than the spanish cause is different like the names of the characters. Oh the Thrill Digger is the hardest zelda minigame i played, i can't complete it at full on easy mode >_< Greetings!

  • @D-Player- Yeah, sometimes those regional differences are to make it more accessible. But some things are better off the way they were. Also, I haven't played Skyward Sword in a long time, so I might remember this wrong, but wasn't there a trick where you could see the Thrill Digger layout before playing it?

  • Never found such a trick to do in the minigame cause all Link's actions are limit to play only the minigame and nothing else. Maybe you are talking about the option to see above you when you move under the ground.

  • Nah, I think there was a digging spot where you could go under the Thrill Digger spot and pick up the rupees from the minigame itself without playing. But I'm probably thinking wrong.

  • I remember one spot outside but never tried or come back later cause was annoyed to me not being capable of complete it... of course i'm talking to beat the minigame fairly, not to only get all the ruppes.

  • Oh, ok
