I loved first gen a lot, but that final battle in second gen was what really made Pokemon for me. Those early Pokemon designs were so simple and yet so awesome. These days it's like the take an animal and throw a bunch of extra lines on it, color em in, and pass em off as Pokemon. I do like some of these newer designs a lot, though. Strangely, it feels like this gen is gonna be a hit or miss.

    This generation feels like a reboot of the series, so I kinda have mixed feelings about it.

    Gen 6 was really bad tbh. ORAS were good but X and Y was my least favorite main game in the series. Sun and moon looks amazing so far.

    I just hope it lives up to it's expectations, and doesn't ruin the series for anyone. I liked gen six a lot on my first run, but then it just got really boring, which never happened in any of the other gens for me. It's like, all there really was to do was train pokemon once the story was done.

    Gen 6 was very underwhelming. It tried to be like Gen V, but it failed on so many levels. A poor story, less than 100 new Pokémon and a ridiculously easy Elite Four are all things I expect Sun and Moon to fix. I also hope Sun and Moon puts more variety into a series that for years has been criticized for being too repetitive. I want change, and I hope you do too.
