Definitely Sony. They've done several times before, and they aren't too big of rivals as they used to be with each other, like back in the late 90s and early 2000s. Plus, there's plenty of Sony stuff I'd love to play on a Nintendo system or vise-versa.

  • What about Sega man? They need some more love!

    Yeahs2
  • Nintendo almost made a game system with Sony it was going to be called the Nintendo Playstation

    Yeahs3
  • I just bought a PS4, so I might seem a little biased, but I think Sony and Nintendo would be a much better fit. Sony has plenty of unique, quirky titles in addition to their more "hardcore" games, and if their collection included Nintendo's iconic characters (with more power and better graphics), it would be an unstoppable alliance.

  • I don't know if Sony is all that eager to work with Nintendo after the whole SNES disk drives incident, but it would be cool to see.

    Yeahs3
  • With Microsoft but only to have a new banjo kazooie game, nothing else. @funklab what was the incident?

    Yeahs3
  • The first PlayStation was supposed to be a disk drive add on for the SNES made by Sony. Nintendo backed out of the contract because they were nervous about Sony making all the money on software sales. Then Sony brought a prototype to E3, only to discovered that Nintendo signed a deal with Philips to make the add on instead of them behind their backs.

    Yeahs3
  • Instead of caning the project, they decided to go forward on their own, which is how we got the original PlayStation. Fun Fact: Nintendo gave Philips permission to use the Mario and Zelda IPs to make the infamous CD-I games.

    Yeahs3
  • I didn't know that! that's crazy. Even though I've always liked Nintendo way better (don't really like the games Sony has), they must regret that decision, seeing how succesful the PS has become

    Yeahs3
  • Yeah, they ultimately created their biggest competition in the home console market! Nintendo learned a lot of valuable lessons from that ordeal. Not a lot of people know about Nintendo's dark history of aggressive business practices.

    Yeahs3
