If ReDeads are basically bodies of clay animated by dark magic, then it wouldn't hurt to try and make myself one in art class..... 'HEY! Room four! No hexing allowed on school grounds!

They only made it up. The original review of Link's encounter with one clearly depicted a corpse. They made it 'clay' to try to pretend it was kid friendly. They should have stuck with the original idea...
