So close to having 100% upgrades. Approximately 2.2 million gold left to get.

I'm curious: how have you been gold grinding? I'm looking for the most optimal level. I'm also trying to get all upgrades.

For gold you can grind on chapter 3 mission 44 "KING DESTROYER" and for all important items except for the diamond you can grind on chapter 4 mission 78 "Danger, Don't Open!". With the Amazonian I can usually beat mission 44 between 10-13 seconds. In total time it takes about 1 minute and 10 seconds in total from the castle, back to the castle screen again. Cont.

With that said, I can usually grind about 600,000 gold in 1 hour of playtime in mission 44. Now for items, I have tried a few different missions toward the end game, usually missions 97-99 but I found mission 78 to give the most amount of useful items such as the pie or cake from the boss, and the minotaur horns and so on and so forth. This mission takes a lot longer to do but you make up for it with the items you get. For me, without using the dash ability it took me an average of 54 seconds to complete. So about 2 minutes or so to do a complete playthrough of it (going from the castle screen, beating the mission, doing the roulette, and back to the castle screen). With dash you can cut 15-20 seconds or so off your time. Cont.

For mission 44 I grinded up to 2.6 million gold and maxed out my banner that way from level 24. Mission 78 I grinded I think 2.4 million gold and got my castle from 37 to 78 as you see in the screenshot. For my items, I had 11 maxed out (999) items from grinding that much. Got about 110 cakes (mainly thanks to the roulette) and had no problem upgrading stuff towards the end leveling process.

Interesting. I use level 99 for diamond grinds because sometimes I get 2 in one go, plus a ton of gold. I can start at Lv.1, go to lv.8, and still end up with almost 9999 gold and a ton of items. I'm playing on hard.

I hate doing King of Destroyer. What set (like skills, weapon, passives) do you use, if I may ask? That level is harder for me than I'd care to admit. Oh, have you seen my drawing? Not the Pokemon one? I discovered something cool.

For "The King of Destroyers" I use the Amazonian with her final weapon (you can see it in the weapon shop picture posted) and the skills boomerang, boomwhirl, and dash. The other skills are surge, mana, focus, and gold rush to make sure i always get 9999 gold. With those skills you can dash straight to the enemies in three seconds, use a boomwhirl before entering the hoard, and then boomerang spam

For diamond farming there is a level called "Close-Quarters" or something similar in chapter 5 I believe. There is a dragon boss with two birds & nests immediately next to the castle & a minotaur, purple goblin, & white demon. Also two turrets on the upper-left & lower-right of the map. You can boomwhirl the birds, boomerang boss, regular attack/boomerang combo enemies & dash the turrets. 12-15sec

Interesting note to mention. As of the gold listed in the picture is shown to be from 2 days ago, with 2 hours of playtime (maybe an extra 30 minutes added, forget exactly how long I grinded since then) I am now up to 1.8 million gold. So revising my gold grinding in the previous posts, one can usually get between 500,000-600,000 gold in 60-70 minutes.

Incredible. I've been wanting to discuss this game with someone. Have you done any research on rings? I plan to do so after I get all upgrades. There appears to be little info on how to control the result, if at all. All I know is that if you have a passive skill on a ring or weapon, it will still activate when you equip said ring or weapon without having to equip the skill itself.

Unfortunately I have as much knowledge as you do, I haven't touched the cellar at all aside from testing it out twice. Will research more about it online since I remember finding a guide that talked about rings.

Indeed. According to the guide, it's surprisingly random. I'm going to test that set on King of Destroyer. I'll let you know if I discover anything. I assume you'll do the same? I feel the need to discuss this deeply strategic game, but this community isn't very active....

Unfortunately it isn't, haven't played Gotta Protectors in four days or so. Been busy with work and other games, but I plan on hopping back in soon. If you type in "Gotta Protectors GameFAQS" and in the first link go to FAQs/Walkthroughs there seems to be a pretty in-depth ring maker guide already made. You should check it out. I heard Japanese players have even more guides on the game.

I've actually read the ring making guide already. I was going to tell you about it, but no need to, it seems.
