I earned this already? I guess it doesn't count DLC clothing. Also how weird is it that there is only one fire-element hat and it's one of the last items you get?

    Yeah, medals like that were in the base game and do not count DLC content when unlocking them. The only DLC medals are the standard 3 map medals and a few for the increased level cap.
