Hey, it's the true Master Sword! It only took like 200 hours to unlock this. The best weapon in the game just reached its full potential.

  • Nice job! You know how many Legendary skills I have unlocked on the WiiU? Rhetorical - a lot. Anyway, I just finally unlocked one on this version while finishing Grand Travels. (old saved screen for color ... Tingle rage!)

  • Yeah, I unlocked around five or so on the Wii U as well. Apparently it's actually inferior to many other skills, but oh well. I'm not sure how much progress you have made in HWL, but to unlock the second Master Sword skill that boosts its power to 900, you have to unlock every fourth level weapon for every character. It's considerably more difficult than HW's one Adventure Map prerequisite.

  • That deed is done bro. I'm at 100% through the current dlc except for this list of medals: Rental Skills thing, Granny's Boy, the Hero difficulty one from Legend Mode (I completed most of them before boredom set in), both level cap ones (two characters at 107 and 101, everyone else under 90) and Cucco's Revenge (keep forgetting about it) ... also, the three most recent Rewards Map squares. Meh.

  • Congratulations! That's quite the achievement!

  • I'm really tempted not to 100% this game. I don't know if I could be bothered to play through every stage on Hero difficulty again. Also I doubt I'll ever get the rental skill medal. Heck, I still haven't gotten all 15 friend tokens in TFH!

  • ZNG summit baby ... that would solve all of our problems.

  • No kidding it would. We have like, what, an average of two 3DS systems per member? =P

  • But Benjamin... you can buy friend tokens in TFH. :P On the note of Legendary Skills - I never unlocked a single one on the Wii U version. The other skills seemed more beneficial to me. I haven't unlocked any on Legends either, but I'm not very actively playing that game. =/ I'm doubting I'll ever 100% it as well..

  • Actually, I just realized that you were referring to the specific 15 friend tokens from the Faux Hero.

  • I feel so bad seeing you guys all hardcore into this, talking about max levels, legendary weapons, etc. Me, I play an hour a day to unlock new costumes and then look at them in the gallery. I'm such a casual.

  • With a game as large as this, it's really hard not to become an expert if you unlock enough stuff. The attention to detail in the design of the weapons and costumes are what makes it all worthwhile really.

  • I mean, I have a great understanding of gameplay mechanics, but the weapon stats are lost on me.

  • Ah, that's simple. For the most part, you want to get your base damage as high as possible. You can do this by leveling up your warrior or by getting stronger weapons. The Legendary skill, which is very difficult to unlock, boosts your base damage by a relatively small amount all things considered. Many other weapon skills are actually more effective, but because Legendary skills are the hardest

  • to unlock (unlocking Legendary requires unlocking every non-DLC weapon in the game and 25,000 KOs with the weapon), many players wear it as a badge of pride.

  • Uh-huh. Right. I try.
