Question

Team composition

Am I the only one who finds it impossable to play the game with and comp other then Shulk Ryen and Sharla? You either get killed because you have no healer or because you can focus the agro on one person or you can use the Manado to save teamates . I mean there are 7 playable charecters! Why not make it make them all work together?!

    Sharla is completely disposable. Shulk is needed for some fights, but definetely not all. Tanks: Riki (with the right gems), Dunban and Seven are as good as Reyn. Some of my favorite lineups: Shulk, Dunban, Seven - My favorite endgame setup Riki (aggro and ether gems = damage dealing AoE tank), Seven, Dunban Melia (player-controlled), Riki (great healer with You Can Do It), Dunban(tank)

    I tried swithing around but every time I did I felt like I was missing either damage, health or healing

    You can drop Sharla out of your party the moment Dunban joins, she really isn't necessary in any lineup. Her damage is too low. Riki can heal almost just as well without overheating and does lots more ether damage.

    Try playing around with gems + skill links. Dunban/Seven with high agility don't even need to be healed often because they dodge pretty much everything. And for when you do need to get healed: Light Heal and You Can Do It. Melia's damage is potentially much higher than Shulk's, if you control her properly. Seven and Dunban can also dodge-tank while dealing equal or more damage than Shulk.
