Question

A dumb question but a question nonetheless

I know this girl that I like, but I've been making jokes about her with my friends. They're not cruel jokes, but if someone told her that I joked about her, I think that she would not want to be my friend anymore. Should I just tell her the truth and apologize?

    That's pretty dark. Honestly that's not a joking matter, at all. If she struggles with that, don't go dragging her down. And if you like her, why are you making jokes about her? That's one thing I'll never understand. You need to be genuinely kind and gentle not hostile and rude towards her.

    Then confront her about it. It's not safe to assume. But don't push it, it's a hard thing to get through. From what I've heard, it's like an addiction. Just make sure she knows you're always there if she needs you, be a true friend to help her get through this.
