Created artificially from an artifact believed to hold the "blueprints" of an angel. At some point the lab she was in had been attacked and destroyed, not quite clear if she broke out and went on a rampage or if she managed to escape and survive. What she's really supposed to be is also a mystery. Potentially dangerous, threat level unknown.

Having just one wing could be a sign of being injured or that she wasn't fully developed. Another distinct feature of hers is her large glassy eyes, which is why I call her "Bug-eyes". Seeing her situation, I don't think she has a real/normal name, and anyone that knew it isn't alive anyway.

Although reworking on this one has given me some ideas to expand on her concept, I don't have any plans to use her in the future. And now I might as well share some of the drawings from when I was trying to figure out how to redraw this one.

Based on the original drawing. Here you can easily see where the name "Bug-eyes" comes from. Was trying to get a feel of the original.

Reworking from the original. Eyes felt too big. While I wanted to have that feature feel unsettling, the whole thing felt too uncanny. Kept retrying, but further attempts weren't working out.

So I figured to try a different approach and style to see if that would work. Here's the one with thin lines-

I liked this one, but it felt limited so I decided to just start all over and accept that I'll probably have to do some redesigning to make it work and be satisfied.

I'll try and stretch this event a little longer, but I'll be getting a game in a few days and I want to take a small break from drawing and work on writing. To those who've been following along and checking these posts out, thank you very much! And thank you for sharing your experiences and characters, I'll probably be making more posts to encourage others to share theirs with me.

I really like this one. The whole angel thing is astounding! Sounds like a pretty tough start and it reminds me of mewtwo. I wonder how she fights? Is she 'good'?

I probably took inspiration from Mewtwo's origin, but it's a classic thing to have lab experiments escape. Hard to say because of how much I kept trying to make her work. From peaceful and a pacifist, having odd flashbacks of memories that aren't her own where she acts out, and even having her power continue forming over time.

Even what her power is, whether or not she uses a weapon, and how she fights (if at all) couldn't be settled on. For the most part she would be considered 'good'. If she was suppose to have agressive and destructive insticts, they would be suppressed in her current state and she wouldn't be able to put up much of a fight anyway. Lots of potential, but I couldn't find a place.

Although I got an an idea while reworking on her when I was wondering how an apocalyptic level of power could come into being without actually destroying the world in the process. So I started wondering about what would happen if someone found something with a power as great as an atom bomb, whether or not they realize it.

Then I expanded on that thought, wondering how it would be handled if something had the force of a nuclear weapon if it died, having it burst out at a time like that rather than having that level all the time. I would like to dig into it more and research about radiation and develop her, but that's going to take a while and I'm busy with other things that I want to finish first.

And thank you for listening! Just 2 more days for my game to be available and I'll start drawing for it on Miiverse. It's a horror game so I might get some spooky drawings done for Halloween since I don't have much else planned for it.

Well... I was looking for some creepy stories and images like I usually do for October and I've happened to come across some related to radiation. Mercy, you do NOT mess with radiation. I don't think I should even write something based off of the effects out of respect, it's that terrible. But maybe I'm just overreacting right now.

The song "Radioactive" takes on a horrible new meaning now, doesn't it. But seriously, I loves me a good Sci-fi when I find one, especially a biological Sci-fi. (Real hard to find those on TV or anywhere.) The best part about them are that they are at times grounded on scientific fact, although with a few outlandish speculations based on fact. Makes me wanna be a biologist of some kind later.%)
