I personally think that King Boo in the trailer was a hint to Mario Kart 8 Dlc Pack 3 and 4 because if you remember Nintendo uk said "Good Things come to those who wait #MarioKart8" Now I know you'll mention The Double items but I believe that will just be a Major Update to Mario Kart 8 alongside Dlc Pack 3 and 4

    it's indeed a good theory. I'm pretty confident if the game in the video still is mk8 that Switch will get an mk9 eventually, cause every system since SNES has it's own MK. I'd like some extra DLC for MK8 though, I'm not tired of it yet.
