    I'd say no. If SEGA has another rep, it should be from another franchise imo. That being said, I wouldn't complain. I like Knuckles and Tails a lot.

    I would love to see Shadow, I mean he has his Chaos Ability's! Chaos Control (for time stopping/slowing down, teleporting and "flying") Chaos Spear Chaos Blast (I think the "Blast"-wave was up to 15 meters (source: Shadow the Hedgehog-game)) And of course he gets even MORE POWERFULL when he lays down his Inhibitor-Rings (the rings on his gloves) But only one character from a third-party series...

    @callum A la Sonic 2? No thanks; we're WAY past that stage. Anyway, when I first read the question I read it as "Does the Sonic series ITSELF need more characters?" to which I say "It needs more good games first.". But since the OP meant "in Smash", I say Tails. He got gypped the most out of Sonic Team's current SANIC ONLEE approach to their series, as well as in Sonic Adventure 2.
