    I think so, since it won't be a "real" new MK game, only with Double Dash mode and new veteran characters that have been forgotten, and hopefully new vehicle elements. So it's a MK8 with DLC3 & 4. Which is normal since we want it since quite long now !

    Won't buy Switch just to play same game as I do on the wii u ><!Concept is intriguing though; tablet with AAA games you can play on a tv.However it is absolutely crucial Nintendo make great NEW exclusive games for it, aswell as strong third party support.Also it must be as powerful as possible; gamers want that, and the Switch will be selling for a pretty penny so no excuses! Last chance Nintendo!

    I want to think that Switch is a home console You can carry with you, not the opposite... The idea has the magical seal of Nintendo, and I want It to work. My first Nintendo was a Donkey Kong Game & Watch, so this label has been with me since I was a little child...

    My first game console was the snes and dk country. I love Nintendo too and want them to make a success of the Switch but I am a tough customer and will not let nostalgia cloud my judgement. Nintendo must deliver what the consumer actually wants not what Nintendo thinks they want. My ps4 is my favourite console because it has lots of great games and great graphics and is more versatile than wii u.

    And the Switch is definitely a handheld console that you can, if you wish, put on the big screen.Remember, unlike the wii u, all the tech; graphics, sound cards etc are in the handheld console not the docking device, which slightly concerns me as current handheld technology doesn't have the capability of something as powerful as the PS4; there is simply not enough room for that power in a handheld

    But it's basically the same game with a couple of bells and whistles -_-. I'm fed up of remastered games- they are oversaturating the games market. Developers love them as they are cheap and easy to remake but it's just laziness and a lack of creativity in my opinion. I want brand spanking new great games, sequels etc. I do not want to, for example, play Skyrim on ps3, ps4 and next on Switch ><!

    Sumo, your thoughts are very smart, but just think in what we REALLY know about Switch today: only the concept, anything more, the rest are opinions. I like opinions coming from authentic gamers like you, but I also do like the concept Nintendo has presented to us. Maybe the dock gives the console extra electric power that makes It as powerful as PS4, dreaming is free...

    Nintendo has confirmed the dock is ONLY for charging and tv output. As for everything else, yes, I will reserve judgement until the specs are released.

    I'm sure that the dock will feed with vitamins the console, not with chips but with electricity. Think in the power of a nowadays smartphone and its size. Don't You think It's possible to manufacture a powerful but compact device? But I'm only a surgeon, not an ingenieer... We will know the truth very soon...

    Apparently it will be more of a competitor with the ipad than ps4. If it has the speed, screen and headphone amp quality of the ipad then I would be extremely happy.... and very surprised! ;)

    Yes, but Mario Kart isn't a "series" like those games... Anyway Mario Kart Wii lasted 6 years itself, and even, that's without counting wiimfi !... I hope MK8 also has long days in front of him !!
