Question

Gadolt 2nd fight

This fight is impossible to win ! I got there at level 64 and now I can't leave since I'm stuck on the 2nd phase. I have tried every comp possible but nothing helped! Any tips?

    In my experience, the main problem with this fight is Laser Bullet, the move where he flies up and then does a huge ether AoE attack. In my first playthrough he rarely used it and the fight was a cakewalk. In my second playthrough, he used it all the time and the fight was extremely hard as a result. Some tips:

    1) Equip the best ether defense gear you have on you and equip yourself with HP UP and Ether Def Up gems. 2) When you see that he's about to use Laser Bullet, use Monado Armour (not Shield) if you have it. 3) Block his talent arts with Monado Shield.

    4) Harder to pull off, but... save up for a chain attack. If you get a vision that he's about to use Laser Bullet, trigger the chain attack and topple and daze him. If you daze a target during the vision, they forget the arte they were about to use and switch to a weaker arte. Good luck.

    It's gonna be hard sice all my party gauge is going to rez my party all the time because he won't stop using his laser attack that gose in a stright line and deals about 4.5k...

    Linear laser can be blocked with Monado Shield, if that's giving you issues.

    Yeah but shulk is literally glass so he dies all the time from just normal attacks..

    try using dunban or reyn to tank and protect shulk, or give him defensive gems.
