    ...joining in, as I lack the creative imagination to come up with anything good and might end up making a mockery of someone's special song. Maybe that would still be fun though... If I get time - I'll keep following it for now anyways :) Also my stupid disconnecty gamepad is getting sent off for repairs this week.

    I know Dizzy from anywhere. Even if I didn't play it on commodore. I spent 6ish hours one day trying to beat it without save state on an emulator(I had the original gold nintendo cartridge too) and could only make it to the last boss. Decided to use it save state to finally see the ending. Wow was it short but I felt satisfied! XD And that is Karate Champ at the bottom, yes?

    Will do DJ. I'll probably pick it back up when Mario Run comes out as they are apparently gonna be tied in. I've decided I'm gonna join in the art song swapping drawing commands thing, but I feel sorry for i) whoever gets my song and ii) whoevers song I get. Too bad for those guys that's life.

    Cheers Messi you see that Joe out there has seen more attractive days than on the c64, but the real shock is just how pink his ninja kids were. In an interview back in the day he said it was like 'rescuing child size pieces of pink blancmange' and that he 'hated waiting for the multi-load sections'.

    Xander - the first Dizzy was just brutal, unforgiving. I completed it but used a cheat. Treasure Island - spent hours completing the game and collecting every coin just to fall in the sea in the very last jump nine times out of ten but finished that one fairly :) Fantasy World Dizzy was just about right though - that one was brilliant. It's cool going back to slay old demons using save states...

    ...I finished Creatures 2 Torture Trouble on my laptop for the first time about 20 years after it came out haha! At the bottom is IK+ but a lot of the karate games at the time used very similar sprites. Duke - Wizball is in the comms he can be seen when the ghostbusters car drives off. Cheers Rik. Tom and me played through it a couple of weeks ago. We used the TECHNIQUE cheat - impossible game.

    My gamepad is getting sent off today or tomorrow - was just waiting to do a Pokemon Mario Maker level for Scott. It mostly behaved itself for making the level, but I couldn't play levels without unfair deaths from glitchy disconnects. I've found that 90% of stuff can be done using gamepad pro which is good news.

    Ah ok! I saw yall mention IK+. Inwas thinking..."When did Karate Champ had pants fall down and when was there a blue guy?" XD But never played the Arcade Karate champ either so I wouldn't be surprised if I missed things. And that is awesome! Even if not quite as classic, one of my biggest fair tough achivements was spending one day fairly beating Contra 4 on DS. XD Hats off to all...

    your victories! May we conquer all our own old school nightmares! Totally forgot about legitimately beating Street Fighter 2010 the Final Fight on emu. That one had inifinite continues though...So it was just a battle of reflexes, luck and staying calm and cool. XD

    That Contra 4 is a mighty achievement congrats. I played for about an hour on it - thought it was brilliant, but also strangely never wanted to see it ever again at the same time.
