If Link takes too long in the final room before reaching Vaati in Dark Hyrule Castle, Vaati's ceremony will complete. He will then drain the Light Force from Zelda, resulting in her death. You had one job Link and you failed!!!

    That's kinda scary! I always thought games made it to where you made it no matter what or you lost no matter what. Kinda like the sanctuary part on a Link to the Past!
