I was around for the very end of Tomy's reign on the Motor Road and Rail/Trackmaster merchandise, so I was able to get Tomy versions of the "Steam Team". However, a long time ago, my James stopped working, and later, my Gordon. I used to only hold the engine, and not the tender, so I apparently put too much tension on the wires connecting the two. Does anyone know how to fix the wires without↓

↑buying new ones, or wrecking the insides? I have a solid attachment to these, and while I really want them to work again, but I can't use my small amount of money on them, and I ESPECIALLY don't want them to get even more broken. Thanks guys. Anyways, HAGD! :]
