Now, what certainly wasn't a product of run-of-the-mill weather was a giant shadow encompassing miles upon miles if land. What caused the shadow just so happened to be the moon-sized pitch-black cloud barely breaking through the other clouds.

Zero, wondering what could cause such a shadow, looked around. Coming to the conclusion that nothing on the ground was causing it, he looked upwa- ... ... Yeah, A moon-sized pitch-black cloud definitely does seem like the cause for a suspicious giant shadow.

Alright, you've got yourself a deal. *shakes his hand, and dark energy surrounds the hands, locking them for a bit until it disappears* ... There. Now you CAN'T take it back. Or, ya know, you might get erased from existence. *grins*

The large, dark, spherical cloud stopped its descent. Upon closer inspection, it seemed to be formed from black orbs that, by comparison, looked really tiny. Wanting to gaze upon its destination, a large, red eye slowly opened from the center of the visible part of the cloud.

Pit shivered as he saw the eye. He moved in front of Zelda, glaring at it. "What is that thing?"

The pupil of the eye looked left and right, glancing at the land below. Its travels stopped when it caught sight of the group. It stared directly and menacingly at them for what seemed like an eternity.

It looked like it was thinking. And it seemed to be determining who in the group appeared to be the strongest or most challenging. Settling upon three specific members, the eye slowly closed, with the giant, dark cloud deploying three of its pitch-black orbs.

When they reached the group, they just... hovered there, a little ways above the ground. They looked like ordinary, regular pitch-black spheres with no defining features whatsoever.

Xaviet smiled, returning to his normal form, with white hair and upward-curved horns. A portal to his homeland appeared below him. "I can never break a promise," he said to Skull as he dropped into it, closing the portal door behind him. Toon Link and Sakura looked at the spheres. "Hmm?" Kirby was freaking out. "Ohhhhh no. Ohhhhhhhhhhhh no. Ohhhh nonononononono." (Last post. .u.)

Zero, in return, glanced at the spheres, then back to the cloud, and then back to the spheres. "Honestly, I was hoping there would be more to this. The suspicion with a planet-sized, dark... thing sending orbs that do nothing is still there, though."

Pit didn't move as he stared at one of the orbs. "These things are strange..."

Zero began to walk towards one of the orbs. "Although..." He still had the Z-Saber out. "I've been meaning to strike at something for the last few minutes now, so if that's all this thing is giving me then I'll gladly accept!" His walk turned into a full-on dash as he neared the orb, preparing his blade so that he could strike...

... until the orb that Zero was approaching suddenly opened an eye (which was thankfully regular barring a red iris). It fired a strange projectile the moment it opened. Zero was taken by surprise by the orb suddenly having an eye, but that didn't last long as he was hit by the projectile in the midst of his awe.
